WHY EPHEMERAL BOUDOIR?
Boudoir photography is more popular than ever these days, but sadly an overwhelming majority of it is tacky and uncomfortable. No one wants to put themselves out there in a such a special, and intimate way, only to have a photographer or makeup artist drop the ball with poor posing or an understanding of necessary skills to accentuate the female body.
After a bottle of wine and a chat, Sabrina and I quickly realized that we want to share our 17+ years of experience to explore the beauty of boudoir photography and off a fresh experience to all women out there seeking to explore themselves. Maybe you've never thought of yourself as "sexy" or are in need of a good confidence boost? Or perhaps you're looking to surprise your groom with an extra special gift on your wedding day? HAIR + MAKEUP ARTIST
My favorite days consist of Kacey Musgraves on the radio (Psst. Taylor Swift is also my jam) and waking up to the smell of coffee in the morning. To stay sane, I make it a point to practice 20 minutes of yoga every day and burn as many candles as humanly possible because they're just THAT good.

YOUR BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHER
Sabrina would probably confirm that I'm a true nerd at heart and that I find talking about myself grueling so I'll keep this short. I'm observant and passionate, which I think are two qualities that make me great at my job and photographing boudoir for a living. On top of that, I just absolutely love what I do. It's immensely rewarding to show someone a side of themselves they might have never seen before.
Day to day, I love pour-over-coffee, filling up my calendar with travel dates, live music, and movies. I'm most happy with a camera in hand and a new place to explore or a portrait to take.

Growing up a girly girl through and through, I've played with lip gloss and hairspray for as long as I can remember. I'm a California native, NYC transplant, and current resident of Charlotte, NC. My husband and dogs are my forever obsession. On a Sunday, you'll find me baking cookies, listening to Taylor Swift and watching football.
Jim and Sabrina are amazingly talented and so fun to work with!
I had no idea what to expect prior to my session with them and they absolutely blew me away. I was so nervous to even do a boudoir shoot but they made me feel so comfortable. I am beyond happy with my photos- they’re incredible! I would recommend Ephemeral 1,000 times over! Such a great experience!
