2026 Ephemeral Update!
What’s New with Ephemeral Boudoir
Hi everyone, Jim here. A lot is in motion this year for Ephemeral Boudoir, but I first want to explain what this brand represents and how it fits with my other photography work.
About a year ago, I took this website down and merged Ephemeral into my personal brand at www.jimtrice.com. My goal was to simplify updates and maintain consistency across the different types of photography I do. However, I quickly realized that the change actually created more confusion here in Charlotte. Go figure.
So this year, please feel free to reach out for boudoir photography either here at Ephemeral or through my main website. They’re one and the same.
Our Move and Website Updates
Another reason for consolidating everything under my name is that Sabrina and I are planning to move to Mallorca, Spain this summer. I’m currently updating all of my sites to get everything ready for that transition.
The plan is to move all of my wedding, engagement, and family work to www.jimtriceweddings.com, and use www.jimtrice.com for portraits, branding, travel, and boudoir. Once that’s complete, I might bring Ephemeral back into that structure, but we’ll see how things evolve.
In Europe, it will make more sense to have everything connected to my name since Charisse won’t be able to work with us as often. Sabrina and I will continue offering boudoir sessions overseas, so whether you’re booking us here or there, the experience will be the same—just sometimes with or without Charisse depending on the location.
Upcoming Print Shop Launch
I’ll also finally be launching a standalone print shop featuring my travel and fine art photography. It’s taken some time to learn a new web platform while juggling everything else, but I’m feeling good about it now. The goal is to have the shop live and shoppable by March or April.
A Note for Brides
As a wedding photographer, I’ll add that boudoir sessions make an incredible wedding gift for your partner. I’ve seen their reactions firsthand, and it’s always completely worth it.
More on that in the next post…
